Fresh off a $20 million renovation and expansion project that added a new ballroom and parking garage last year, owners are pouring $12 million more into the Hyatt Regency Austin. The money will be used for a top-to-bottom revamp of all 448 guest rooms at the hotel, at 208 Barton Springs Road near downtown Austin. Work has already started and should be completed by the end of the year, hotel officials said.
